My Story

Many years ago, Michael was trained as a professional chef at Johnson & Wales University. Inspired by the elaborate ice carvings he created for events, often using a chainsaw, Michael turned his talents to wood working. Hobby projects like bed frames and coffee tables taught him about traditional joinery and design, only expanding his love of woodworking. Now, after a 30 -year, award-winning career as a chef, Michael has turned his professional sights to his life long passion, wood working.  His customer driven designs include small pieces like keepsake boxes, cutting boards and jewelry. He also makes larger custom pieces such as dinning tables, hutches, and coffee tables and is a member of 

Seacoast WoodTurners organization.

Michael lives in the NH Seacoast area with his wife, Dr. Erin Neely, their dog Lyla, and cats Finn and Ivy. His new enthusiastic hobby has earned him a brown belt with Team KWBJJ/Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu out of Dover, NH. And he enjoys spending time with close family and friends.
