This small grandfather clock is made of Black Walnut and stands about 5 1/2' tall. Behind the raised panel door, you'll find two shelves for nicknacks or books. The frame is constructed using dovetail joinery and contrasting Maple is used as splines in the rail and stile for added strength and visual interest.
A classic Farmers style dining room table and bench with hand turned legs. The tops are made of black walnut and created with an authentic bread board ends. The ends are pinned with brass to help keep the tops straight during seasonal changes in humidity.
This customer wanted a lot of storage with 2 pull out drawers behind the far left cabinet door, 3 center drawers for cutlery, and daily use equipment with a sliding waist bin behind the right hand door. The top is a family heirloom breakfast table butcher block top.
A cigar humidor. This custom piece was built in a collaboration with the client, wanting dark woods used, a rail and stile lid with a highly figured center piece and steel corners. The inside is lined with Spanish Cedar for moister control. I was able to include wooden hinges as well.
An Asian inspired hallway table.
The top is 2 1/2 " African Mahogany wrapped around 6" Cherry legs with Mahogany inlay. Designed to fit in a hallway, its only 16" in depth.
A costumer who owned a micro brewery in New Hampshire wanted some beer flight paddles. He wanted exotic woods used like Zebra wood, African Paduk and Tiger Maple.
This dining room hutch was designed to match a country style Shaker kitchen. The two shelves will display, photographs and tea set, with silver cutlery in the drawer. Storage below will hold table linens. It was finished with a semi-gloss polyurethane.
